about
The second single of the EP, Eye To Eye, is inspired by people’s inability to evolve beyond their bigoted viewpoints and who hold racist, homophobic and sexist views.
Eye To Eye is a short yet powerful, 2 and a half minute song that explodes instantly with hard hitting riffs and melodies. It expresses the anger and frustration we feel when fighting someone who refuses to see another person's perspective and is adverse to change.
This single continues the story of our heroine, Chara, and her journey of confronting her enemies for their injustices. In this chapter she fights the monsters that have solidified their toxic, outdated views. They have “set themselves in stone” with their uncompromisable nature thus becoming “a relic in the making”.
Packed with the power of a knockout punch, Eye To Eye makes for the perfect soundtrack to Chara’s latest boss battle.
lyrics
Break the mould, open your mind.
Listen up and compromise.
Time has passed, don’t settle here.
If you set yourself in stone you’ll be a relic in the making.
We don’t see (see) eye to eye, yeah.
We don’t see (see) eye to eye, yeah.
Kill the game, swallow your pride.
Make amends or sacrifice.
Hey you got a brain, educate it properly.
We’re not gunna stay if you behave like this.
Where’re you gunna go, all alone with your big ideas?
Hanging on the phone, won’t take no for an answer.
We don’t see (see) eye to eye, yeah.
We don’t see (see) eye to eye, yeah.
You set fires just for fun. Tear the walls I put up.
Yeah, eye to eye. Yeah, eye to eye. Yeah!
We don’t see (see) eye to eye, yeah.
We don’t see (see) eye to eye, yeah.
Yeah eye to eye. Yeah, eye to eye.
