Sinner is the final song of the EP, Common Enemy, in which Chara finally faces the final boss on her quest for justice. In this epic battle, our hero fights the sinners of the world, leaders who abuse their power and wealth, deceivers who have become masters of lies.

The battle commences over the songs melodic riff driven guitar and groovy hard hitting drums that reveal an element of soul when the vocal joins in. The amalgamation of emotions within this track pushes towards the bittersweet climax.

Despite Chara being a fictional game-styled character, her battles throughout the EP are representative of real life struggles . Our enemies toy with us, world leaders treat us like their pawns but for us, “it’s not a game, it’s our lives”.
Unlike this make-believe world where Chara’s enemies get the karma they deserve, in our reality, the sinners of this world often “don’t bleed when they commit sin”. They do not always get punished for their wrongdoings.

We should aspire to be like Chara, face our enemies and destroy the injustices of our world.
